Michael Jackson has bought the publishing rights for Eminem’s back catalogue. Michael purchased Famous Music LLC from Viacom for an undisclosed amount.

Michael is now the owner of ‘The Real Slim Shady’ and ‘Without Me’ and also owns the rights to songs by Shakira, Beck and Bjork under the same transaction.

Michael says, “This is a milestone event for Sony/ATV Music Publishing. The diverse collection of songs in this catalogue range from timeless classics to contemporary hits, and I am pleased to add the acquition of Famous Music to Sony/ATV.”
