Michael’s Speech At James Brown’s Funeral

Sunday, December 31st, 2006

“Hello.

What I am going to say is brief, but to the point.

James Brown is my greatest inspiration. Ever since I was a small child, no more than like 6 years old, my mother would wake me, no matter what time it was, if I was sleeping, no matter what I was doing, to watch the television to see the master at work.

And when I saw him move, I was mesmerized. I’ve never seen a performer perform like James Brown. And right then and there, I knew that was exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life because of James Brown.

(fans screaming)

I love you.

But James Brown, I shall miss you and I love you so much. And thank you for everything. God bless you.

And I love you.”

Monday, December 25th, 2006

In a report as yet unconfirmed by ExclusiveMJ.Com, Michael Jackson arrived in Las Vegas late Saturday evening to begin what was termed as “a comback” in the famous showbusiness city.

According to the Las Vegas Review website, Michael and his children arrived by private plane at a private executive terminal at McCarran International Airport around 10:30 p.m. following a flight from Dublin, Ireland.

Jack Wishna, a friend of Michael’s and “Vegas dealmaker” was said to be instrumental in having Michael return back to the U.S.A. When reached by telephone, Wishna would not comment other than confirm that Michael was moving to Las Vegas and to say that “We are working on several projects.”

Calling Michael “one of the greatest entertainers in the world,” Wishna said the singer “is poised to return to the top of the entertainment world soon.”

Indian Singer Compared To Michael

Monday, December 25th, 2006

Indian singer A. R. Rahman seems pleased that his voice is in the same range as Michael Jackson. And he seems to be following in Michael’s footsteps in more ways than one.

“My voice and Michael Jackson’s have the same range, which is higher than the normal male voice, hence the impression,” Rahman said at the launch of his first English album ‘Pray For Me, Brother.’

The accompanying new video has shades of ‘Earth Song.’

The video was shot on the ‘mobile cinemascope format’ and will be available exclusively on Nokia ‘N’ series music phones prior to being released to television.

‘Pray For Me’ was originally an anti - poverty anthem for the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. “We thought that the song deserved a great album and Nokia came forward to fund and also release it on its phones,” Rahman said.

Funds generated from the new English album will go to Rahman’s charity “The AR Rahman Foundation.”

ITV1 To Air Michael Jackson Special

Saturday, December 23rd, 2006

U.K. terrestrial television channel ITV1 is to air a one off hour and half special about Michael Jackson.

The One And Only Michael Jackson will air from 9:00pm-10:30pm next Friday, 29th December.

It is unsure whether or not the content will be positive, negative, factual or riddled with rumours but it’s still a large slot on prime time TV during the much watched Christmas and New Year period for Michael fans to watch.

According to ITV1, the show will have an “insight into the musical talents that established Michael Jackson as the undisputed king of pop in the 1980s.” It will feature interviews with his family members and artists such as Liza Minnelli and Smokey Robinson will discuss Michael’s abilities as a songwriter.

ITV are not new to airing Michael specials, having featured the 2001 30th Anniversary Madison Square Garden concerts in their listings as well as the now infamous Living with Michael Jackson in 2003.

The network was scheduled to air a special in November 2003 but they (wrongly in many fans opinion) pulled it from the airwaves when allegations against Michael went public and his Neverland home was raided. It is not known whether or not this is the same special.

Jackson Wants His Money Back - Files Suit

Saturday, December 23rd, 2006

Michael Jackson blames his financial mess on his former accountants, and he’s suing to make things right.

TMZ has obtained a lawsuit filed by Jackson against Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman & Sloan, the singer’s former CPAs. In the suit, filed late Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Jackson claims the firm withdrew $2.5 million a year from his accounts but did not pay the bills as ordered.

Jackson alleges the firm hired and paid people on Jackson’s dime, without his authorisation. Jackson has been dogged by claims he has stiffed his staff. The lawsuit also alleges that the firm entered into various agreements on Jackson’s behalf, without his approval.

Jackson does not specifically allege where the money went, but claims the firm was negligent and violated its duty of trust. He also claims the firm has not come clean with his financial records, and says he’s requested his accounting file but it has not been presented.

Jackson is seeking unspecified compensatory damages, punitive damages and a full accounting. Reps from Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman & Sloan had no comment.

Neverland NOT For Sale

Thursday, December 21st, 2006

Michael Jackson’s spokesperson Raymone Bain has released the following statement after the worldwide media circulated rumours that Neverland Valley Ranch was up for sale.

“Reports that Mr. Michael Jackson is seeking to sell his Neverland Valley Ranch in California on the Bravo television network’s reality show, ‘Million Dollar Listing,’ are totally untrue and ludicrous and yet another malicious attempt to damage Mr. Jackson’s character and misrepresent his financial affairs.

“Mr. Jackson is NOT selling Neverland Valley Ranch. We have said this time and time again, but rather than believe the source, there are those who consistently rely on unsubstantiated reports from unnamed sources.

“We have not been in discussions with the Bravo Network regarding the series ‘Million Dollar Listing,’ nor do we plan to do so.”
