Jackson To Appear With Bob Dylan In Ireland?

Sunday, June 25th, 2006

Michael Jackson arrived in Ireland yesterday, amid speculation that he was set to join his long-time idol Bob Dylan on stage tonight in Kilkenny.

The controversial star arrived at Cork Airport yesterday afternoon on board an Aer Lingus flight from Paris.

Face covered with a scarf, he and his three children, along with two adults, were whisked away in a blacked-out van.

It is understood he booked into the exclusive €1,500-a-night Blackwater Castle hotel in Castletownroche, Co Cork.

Management at the castle, formerly occupied by one of Oliver Cromwell’s lieutenants in the 17th century, denied they had a superstar, albeit a fading one, in their midst.

“We would be honoured if such a guest would choose to stay here, but it isn’t the case,” said a spokesman.

The castle is just five miles away from the home of Riverdance star Michael Flatley, who was at home last night, but it isn’t clear if the two met up. However, Jackson is due to give a cameo performance at tonight’s Bob Dylan concert in Kilkenny before an expected audience of 20,000, according to sources close to the concert.

The modern day ‘Peter Pan’ is a long-term Dylan fan and a year after he was acquitted of child molestation charges, Jackson, 47, is trying hard to re-establish his flagging career.

However, as with all things surrounding ‘MJ’, little was clear.

But, in a sign of the times, Michael Jackson, accustomed to private jets in financially better times, flew into Cork on a regular Aer Lingus flight.

King Of Pop Flys Into Ireland

Sunday, June 25th, 2006

The controversial pop star Michael Jackson jetted into Cork this afternoon on a scheduled Aer Lingus flight from Paris.

There’s intense speculation that the 47 year old who was accompanied by at least two other adults and three children will be staying with Lord of the Dance and Celtic Tiger performer, Michael Flatley.

Jackson who’s been living with the Prince of Bahrain since his acquittal on charges of child molestation concealed his face and those of the children.

Michael Jackson’s flight touched down shortly after four o’clock, and he, along with his three children, Prince Michael, Prince Michael II and Paris were taken into the airport’s VIP area after and brought through immigration.

The children had their faces covered with hats and masks. And Jackson, who was dressed in black, shielded his face with a mask.

A Garda escort and airport security rushed the superstar and his entourage to a waiting silver Volkswagen mini-van with tinted windows.

Jackson made sure he was well equipped for his trip to Cork, as he jetted in with 27 pieces of designer luggage.

It’s not known what his plans were for the duration of his stay in the city, but it’s believed he will be here for at least a week.

Speculation is high that he could be staying with Michael Flatley at his Castlehide home.

Harvey Levin Blog: Jackson Wants Me

Tuesday, June 20th, 2006

Michael Jackson is after me, and I’m none too happy. Apparently I’m on some kind of witness list in a lawsuit against Jackson, filed by his former business partner and gay porn kingpin Mark Schaffel.

Schaffel claims that Jackson aced him out of millions. He should get in line, because Jackson has been accused of that misdeed by others in the past.

I’m not sure why Jackson wants me as his witness, but I am really upset that his lawyer is harassing me.

The guy has called me before and left messages asking me to speak with him. Last I checked, this is America and if I don’t want to talk to him I don’t have to. So on Saturday morning, my home phone rings and it’s none other than Jackson’s lawyer. I asked him how he got my unpublished number and he said he had hired a private investigator to hunt me down.

I ended the call quickly and sternly. Apparently, this guy hasn’t learned the fine art of winning people over. What a perfect fit for M.J.

By the way, if the lawyer is reading this, don’t call me. If I want, I’ll call you.
